Blues. Jazz. Big Band Swing.
Singing Blues, Jazz & Big Band Swing
all over Colorado
Fronting the powerhouse, 8-piece horn-driven blues band Deborah Stafford & the Night Stalkers, Deborah won the Colorado Blues Society Blues Challenge in both 2021 and 2022. The band went on to represent Colorado at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, where they were semi-finalists. Deborah was also invited to perform in the IBC Women in the Blues Showcase at Alfred’s on Beale Street.
Since 2024, the band has brought its high-energy sound to major Colorado festivals and events, including Blues on the Mesa, Rock & Rails, Louisville Street Faire, and Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Deborah has also opened for blues legend Buddy Guy and shared the stage with Hamilton Loomis.
When she’s not delivering the grit and soul of the blues, Deborah steps into the world of swing with The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra, an 18-piece big band celebrated for its lively, classic swing sound. The orchestra has opened for the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra and has become a fixture of Colorado’s swing music scene.
For a more intimate musical experience, Deborah’s Jazz Quintet features some of the finest musicians from the Boulder and Denver area, bringing style, sophistication, and timeless jazz to the stage.
Whether you’re planning a festival, concert, club date, corporate gathering, or private event, Deborah offers three distinctive musical experiences, each with its own sound and personality.
