Deborah Stafford & The Night Stalkers

Feel the power and excitement of an 8-piece horn-driven Blues, Soul, Funk & Roots Rock Band. Deborah & The Night Stalkers won the Colorado Blues Society Blues Challenge in 2022 & 2023 and went to Memphis to compete at the International Blues Challenge twice. We opened the Trinidaddio Blues Festival last year to rave reviews and this year we'll be at Blues on the Mesa. This band is HOT! The Night Stalkers features Jeff Bowen on guitar, Tone Show on keyboards, Bob Tiger on bass, Doug "JJ" Murphy on drums and of course, the smoldering vocals of Deborah Stafford. Our killer horn section features Doug Rasmussen on sax, Tommy Van den Berg on Trombone and Adisa Nickerson on trumpet These guys can PLAY THE BLUES! Check out our new Memphis CD! The Deborah Stafford Quintet
The Deborah Stafford Jazz Quintet
We play a great mix of Jazz Standards and Jazzy Blues and we are happy to curate the song list to make it perfect for your event. The Quintet consists of piano, bass, drums, vocals and sax. But if you have space or budget constraints, we can trim it down to a Quartet or even a Trio! We play all over the front range at clubs and private events.
The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra featuring Deborah Stafford
The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra featuring Deborah Stafford is an authentic 18-piece Swing Big Band. We play a great selection of 1940's Swing Classics. Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller, Ellington and all the songs you remember. Wow them with the power of a real Swing Big Band and they'll be dancing all night long. Catch this band at our regular Sunday Swing at the Rose gig at the Buffalo Rose in Golden, at Dazzle, The Avalon Ballroom in Boulder, The Dickens, The Mercury Cafe or anywhere swing dancers gather!
Deborah Stafford & The State of Affairs (Blues)
Deborah Stafford and her award-winning Blues Band, The State of Affairs, had a pretty good year in 2019. They were chosen to represent Mile High Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, they got a nod for best self-produced CD and made their first music video for "Driftin". They were nominated for 3 "Members Choice" awards by Colorado Blues Society including Favorite Band and Best Songwriting. Deborah was asked to sing in the Colorado Women in the Blues Showcase and the band got to open for Buddy Guy. Post 2020 they were honored to open the Trinidaddio Blues Festival. Not bad for the Blues!
