Deborah Stafford & The Night Stalkers

The Story
Deborah Stafford has been a staple of the Colorado Blues scene for a couple of decades. In 2021 she put together Deborah Stafford & The Night Stalkers to go to Memphis for the IBC. Playing original R&B. Blues, Soul, Funk & Roots Rock, their horn-driven grooves will get you shakin' it. This band is Hot! Their award-winning horn section, hot guitar licks by Jim DeSchamp, soulful keyboards by Tone Show, and the smoldering vocals of Deborah take this band to the next level. In May 2022 they made it to the semi-finals of The International Blues Challenge in Memphis and opened The Trinidaddio Blues Festival in August 2022 to rave reviews. They have now won the CBS Blues Challenge for the second year in a row and have just returned from Memphis and the 2023 IBC. This year they are slated to play Blues on the Mesa and Rock on the Rails among others. Deborah continues to make her mark as a singer and songwriter in the Blues.
Great solid band with a big sound! Well written songs...
Seasoned and smooth. Horn section compliments this band very well...There is a lot going on up there & you guys make it look so easy. Great musicianship Wow! Nice! Splendid! Well Done!
"Ocean of Tears is a winner. If you don't do it, sell it to Ruthie Foster with horn band. Etta James would kill for that song. Nice Work!"
